Do I need this app or the Cloud app?

To determine if this app is suitable for your site, access Confluence in your web browser and navigate to Help ( ? ) > About Confluence. If your Confluence version is 6.8 or later, this app is compatible. If your version number begins with 1000, you will require the Confluence Cloud app instead.
